I love the Marvel characters. I am a Sci-Fi fan and, I like anything that has to do with the unknown. So, I was watching something on Disney, and before I knew it, I was asking myself, if you could have a superpower, what would it be? Of course, my immediate answer was being invisible. I saw the Invisible Man (the latest one), and it was creepy, I have to admit. But as I was sitting there in mid-thought, the spirit came to me and said, “you do have superpowers.” I thought, “Well, not like the Marvel characters.” Then spirit replied, “Of course not like that, but you do have superpowers.”
Your superpower is not something that you automatically know. It is something that consistently antagonizes you. Your superpower usually comes from a place of defeat or a struggle. You learn something from it each time you encounter it. As you confront your issue(s), you begin to chisel away, and something new emerges. If you never address your issue or deal with the problem head-on, it appears to grow and get stronger.
You have to be persistently persistent at what you are tackling. After a while, you begin to realize that what was once your nemesis (your kryptonite) no longer has control over you. You recognize that you have mastered your problem, and you have a new skill and power. If you reflect hard enough, you understand that your superpower was already there, waiting on you to discover it. What you are looking for is looking and waiting on you. Superman did not start demonstrating his abilities right away; he had to grow into them. The same is true for you as well.
He had to learn and see himself as unique and understand that his gift was inside of him. He had to learn that whatever he had in his hand was needed. Understand and know that he developed his powers out of turmoil. The bridge didn’t wait to fall until he could learn how to fly. He knew how to fly right in the midst of what was happening. Ruby gemstones create themselves under extreme heat, and so does your superpower.
Something has to be agitated. Batman lost his parents; the Hulk had excessive radiation, and Superman was sent to a strange land because they were trying to kill him. Each time you face your fears, you unlock something; a truth, a revelation. These are the things that bring your powers to life. The fuel that you need for yourself and others.
Heartbreak was the trigger that I needed to begin facing my fears. What I couldn’t do was go through this mess again. So, I heeded the call to self-examine, to look at the part I played. With honest reflection, I realized that I was a large part of my problem. My examination of self also helped me understand that I had to address my issues and fix myself. I owed that much to me.
As I addressed the deficits in my life, I realized I had the keys all along. The keys to becoming an operating at my highest capacity. My love of self and the things that make me showed up. So, if you are wondering what my superpower is, it’s encouragement, motivation, teaching, and guiding others to release their fears that they gather along the way, which was passed down to them so that they can get to their true nature. I’m excited about our journey. No one said that the road would be easy, but it is worth it!
Some of my superpowers came out in the form of creating beautiful products. That’s what I’ve been working on over the past few months. I designed these with you in mind. So, please go over to our store and have a look at http://Rubys-Daughter-square.site.
Superman had the skills within him, and it took for situations to occur for him to tap into what was innately inside of him. It was the turmoil and test that brought out his gift. Similar to a ruby gemstone, created under pressure, so is your superpower. It is through agitation and discomfort that you learn your greatest lessons.
Superheroes such as Batman, the Hulk, and Superman, each of these characters face adversity. Batman lost his parents, the Hulk was exposed to excessive radiation, and Superman was sent to a strange land because his enemies were trying to kill him. Each time you face your fears, you unlock something; a truth, a revelation. These are the things that bring your powers to life. The fuel that you need for yourself and others.
